You can help by raising funds for World Vision prior to our 30hour famine. We will experience what hunger is ourselves on March 19-20 (Friday nite until Saturday nite) when we go without food for 30 hours (Friday noon until Saturday 6pm). For 6th graders, you will go without food for 24hours (Friday 6pm until Saturday 6pm). If your parents have any concerns, they can talk to any of the pastors. If you are participating in the church activities (sleepover/lockin and community service, 19th - 20th), then you MUST have a permission slip signed and handed it this weekend. See attached. If you would like to be considered for a trip, please fill out the long-form application which is found at cccnj.org/youth. Each participant will be required to take part in missions training prior to the trip. The deadline to apply will be this Sunday, March 14th. *Newark, NJ Missions (July 4**th**-9**th**): Missionaries will be serving in with *World Impact in Newark by holding a vacation Bible school in the mornings and through some light construction in the afternoon. Even though this is close in proximity, we will be sleeping over at the World Impact school. This is open to 9th grade and up. * Group Work Camp at Manassas, VA (July 11th-16th): *We will be doing various community service with a number of other youth groups in projects like painting, senior citizen visitation, light construction, etc...
