Subject: CCCNJ Youth Group: Youth Group Activity Deadlines

Dear Youth and Parents.,

Here are a few deadlines to be aware of:

*Youth Drama Ministry:  *We were asked to perform a drama for the Good
Friday Service.  If you feel called to be a part of this ministry sign up on
the Youth Pastor's (YP) door by Sunday 3/15.

*30 Hour Famine: * We are famining for the sake of raising money for world
hunger.  Our goal of 12,000 dollars will feed 33 children for an entire
year.  This is open to both middle and high school groups.  If you are in
Middle School and are fasting for the first time, you can fast for 24 hours
(6pm Friday to 6pm Saturday)  The deadline to sign up is 3/22.

*Work Camp: * If there is anyone interested in going to work camp, please
fill out and hand in the appropriate missions application.  The deadline is
open or until the first 20 slots are filled.

*DCLA:*  This is a youth conference that challenges youth to "Live the
Mission of God".  It will taking place from July 10-13th in Washington DC.
For more info: go to DCLA2009.com  The trip will be limited to 18 people.
Cost of the trip will be 320 not including food expenses and spending
money.  Deadline is open until the 18 spots are filled.  To reserve your
spot, please write a check out to CCCNJ and give it to Fran with DCLA in the
memo.  Permission slip will be forthcoming.
