CCCNJ Youth Group: upcoming events in Jan/Feb

Mission Spotlight - Jan. 16, Friday nite, 8pm , Upper Grange
Come learn about various countriess and what is happening in each country as
God's word is being preached in those areas.

Community Service - Jan. 17, Saturday, Chelsea at Montville elder care home.
Demonstrate your love of Christ to this group of elderly that need special
care.  Learn to develop compassion for them, and to pray for them.  more
details to come.

*2009 summer short term mission trips - for youths, college students, adults
*CCCNJ will be sending 3 international (Taiwan, Kyrgyzstan, and Far East)
and 2 domestic (work camp and Capernaum) missions teams out this summer.
International applicants should be baptized and have domestic missions
experience.  Check out Overseas_Mission_Information (link online at cccnj
DOT org \youth) for requirements, dates, and costs.

Applications are also available (link online at cccnj DOT org \youth)!  If
this is your first missions trip with CCCNJ or have not filled out a
missions application in the past 4-5 years, then you would need to fill out
the FULL application form.  If you have filled out a form in the past 5
years, then you only need to fill out the SHORT form.  Applications are due
on Sunday, February 1st; no applications will be accepted after that. For

Winter Retreat:  February 13th-15th:  Drop the Ipod, Cellphone, Computer,
Homework, and Piano as we retreat together to seek God's face at Lake
Champion.  Pastor Ben Tzeng of the Wheaton Chinese Alliance Church will be
coming to share with us from God's Word.  Cost of the trip will be $100 and
there are only 50 spots available so first come first serve.  The retreat
will be open to 8th-12th graders.  See link (online at cccnj DOT org \youth)
