CCCNJ Youth Group: 30 hour famine coming March 20-21, 2009 and other announcements

1.  Our youth group will be involved in the 30 hour famine where they "will
starve for food."  It is an event where they fast for 30 hours in order to
raise awareness and raise money for world hunger.  Our activities will
include both community service projects in our community and group
activities to raise awareness of world hunger.  We will start the famine on
Friday, March 20th at noon and then break fast the next day at 6pm with a
traditional meal similar to the food of those that we will be feeding.  If
you are interested in this life changing experience (both your life and the
lives of children that will benefit from the money raised), come to the
youth pastor's office to sign up and pick up a fund-raising packet.  If you

2.  Youth Drama Ministry:  Our youth group will be performing a drama during
the Good Friday Service.  Practices will be held on Saturday (that's right,
not Sunday) afternoons from 1:00-2:30pm.  If you are interested in this
ministry, please sign up on the youth pastor's door.  If you have any

3.  There are still some WORK CAMP spots available for summer missions.  If
you are interested, please talk to Pastor Manny.  Applications for WORK CAMP
is found on the church website at cccnj/youth.
