CCCNJ Youth Group: Upcoming Events for OCTOBER 2008

In addition to our Friday night activities...

OCT 11, Saturday, 8AM til 12 noon...Let's clean up South Beverwyck Road
together, to make the entrance to our church more presentable!   We will
gather at church and clean both sides of S. Beverwyck Rd for a two mile
stretch.  Please dress appropriately for working in the beautiful fall cool
crisp morning air.  Permission slip needed.

OCT 17 Friday night 10PM until Oct 18, Saturday, 5PM...for HIGH SCHOOL
students only...we will lockin at church friday nite, and then head into NYC
for our 2nd New York Cares event.  Last year, we went to an elementary
school to help build a garden and plant some grass to beautify the school
environment in the midst of NYC.  This year, we won't know until that day
where we are assigned.  But it doesn't matter b/c we are serving the kids of
NYC!  Permission slip needed.  Bring $20 for snacks, breakfast and lunch.

OCT 31, Friday night, our first ever, Harvest Party run by our youth group
to benefit the children in our church as well as their friends.   Let's
celebrate and worship together and especially serve the children in our
church by providing games and snacks and candy, of course.  Youths will run
various carnival-type games in the Grange for the kids to play.  Come and
invite your friends to attend this Halloween-alternative event.
